Zhang Cheng immediately gave his next command. With Aerodactyl flinching, this was an opportunity too good to miss.

Moltres coated its talons in Flying-type energy, then swiftly moved above Aerodactyl and gripped it firmly with its sharp, powerful claws.

The two Pokémon soared high into the sky. Then Moltres mercilessly released its grip, sending the immobilized Aerodactyl crashing into the battlefield under the combined force of momentum and gravity.

With so little HP remaining, Aerodactyl could not withstand such punishment. The moment it struck the ground, its HP dropped to zero, and it passed out, unable to battle.

"Aerodactyl, you did very well. Come back. This wasn't your fault."

After reassuring Aerodactyl, Sun Hai recalled it to its Poké Ball.

"I never imagined your Moltres would be so powerful. It defeated two of my Pokémon in a row!"

Sun Hai greatly admired Zhang Cheng's Moltres. Legendary Pokémon were certainly powerful, but a Trainer without sufficient skill could still fail to bring out their strength.

Zhang Cheng, however, was precisely the sort of capable Trainer whose exceptional command brought Moltres's abilities to their fullest potential.

"But you're not the only one with a Legendary Pokémon. This old man has been around for quite a few years, and I still have a little strength to show for it."

Sun Hai shifted his tone. "The League's assessment requirements for Champion-level Trainers aren't as simple as the previous ones. Young man, you'd better prepare yourself."

"Bring it on, sir. I'm ready. I suspect your next Pokémon will probably be a Legendary Pokémon too. Am I right?" Zhang Cheng asked with a smile.

"Hahaha! You're a clever young man. In that case, I won't keep you guessing."

As soon as Sun Hai finished speaking, a Poké Ball landed on the battlefield.

"Zapdos, I choose you!"
