The Rock Slide unleashed by Regirock came crashing down on Mega Diancie's head.
After taking that attack, Mega Diancie's HP fell below half, leaving it in a somewhat dangerous state.
However, under the effects of Heal Pulse, Mega Diancie's depleted HP and injuries rapidly recovered, eventually returning it to peak condition with full HP.
Seeing this, Su Jun was so furious he nearly coughed up blood. As his Regirock fought Mega Diancie, its opponent's HP actually kept increasing.
"Mega Diancie, it's our turn to attack! Use Light of Ruin again!"
With plenty of HP restored, Mega Diancie once again had enough to spare to use Light of Ruin.
Using Light of Ruin cost the user a portion of its HP. If its HP was too low, using the move would be extremely dangerous.
After using the move several times, Mega Diancie had gotten a good feel for it. It quickly created the Eternal Flower, which blossomed as vast amounts of power poured into it.
Light of Ruin took shape and shot toward Regirock on the ground at tremendous speed.
"Oh no! Regirock, use Protect, quickly!"
Su Jun inwardly cursed. Mega Diancie's Light of Ruin was a special attack, and Regirock was ill-equipped to withstand it.
As a Legendary Pokémon, Regirock naturally possessed keen senses. Upon seeing Mega Diancie unleash Light of Ruin, it instinctively erected a protective barrier before Su Jun even gave the command.
But the barrier did little good. Light of Ruin shattered it in just a few seconds, then struck Regirock's body hard.
With its less-than-impressive Special Defense, Regirock was engulfed by Light of Ruin. Its HP plummeted, losing more than two-fifths—nearly half.
