The problem was that Flying-type moves were not very effective against Zeraora either, leaving Tapu Koko in an awkward position.

Fists laden with Electric-type power slammed into Tapu Koko, dropping its HP below half.
"Tapu Koko, use Dazzling Gleam!"
With no other choice, Bai Yuling could only have Tapu Koko attack with the sole Fairy-type move it knew.
Upon receiving the command to attack, Tapu Koko did not hesitate. It swiftly absorbed fairy-type energy and released a dazzling magical light.

After bringing Tapu Koko's HP below half, Zhang Cheng decided it was time to finish it off with his strongest move.
Zeraora nodded firmly. Ignoring the magical light rushing toward it, it coated its entire body in all the plasma current it had stored earlier.
Normal-type energy gathered from the surroundings and was converted upon contact with the plasma current.
Once the plasma current reached its limit, Zeraora let out a furious roar and hurled its entire body forward, unleashing Giga Impact!
The instant after Zeraora charged, the light produced by Dazzling Gleam engulfed it.
