The God of Destruction sat at the head of the table, his fingertips tapping lightly on his armrest. Nine rings of light revolved behind him, while crimson runes of destruction crackled.
Several others sat on either side of the round table.
The man and woman on the left wore black and white robes respectively. The black-robed man was a young man with short black hair, while the woman in white was a peerless beauty with exquisitely lovely long red hair.
Beside the God of Destruction sat a beautiful woman with brown hair and green clothing, whose gentle bearing made her seem approachable.
They were the God of Destruction's wife, the Goddess of Life, the new Evil God King, Ji Dong, and the new Goddess of Kindness, Lie Yan.
The latter two were still growing into their roles, however, and the godhoods they had inherited were incomplete.
The original Goddess of Kindness and Evil God King had not passed on their divine power, nor had they given their successors the Super Divine Artifacts, the Scales of Judgment and the Heart of Goodness. Thus, the two could only be considered half-fledged God Kings, only a little stronger than ordinary First-Level Gods.
