Mo Zhui and the other three little ones were discussing matters with the Five Immortal Apes when the earth suddenly shook and the mountains rocked. Broken stones tumbled through the cave, and dust billowed everywhere, as terrifying as the coming of doomsday.
Before they could do anything, a succession of deafening cracks rang out, and the upper half of Yellow Dragon Mountain's peak was lifted clean away!
Everyone looked up and saw pitch-black fiend clouds churning like ink overhead. Celestial winds surged, and bolts of Jin light mingled with vast quantities of dark-red blood light, flickering and darting everywhere like thousands upon thousands of venomous snakes.
Layman Bloodrock had realized that the three little ones were guarding the cave entrance with the Heaven-and-Earth Purifying Ring, using the terrain to hold him at bay. He could not take them quickly, and if this dragged on, his junior brother would suffer badly. Thus, he unleashed his immense magical power, broke off and removed almost a third of Yellow Dragon Mountain's upper peak, wrapped it in the Seven-Fiend Mystic-Yin Sky Curtain he had refined himself, and sent it into the clouds before smashing it down at the Ape Demon!
The Ape Demon roared. Relying on the Ten-Finger Demon Light Sword Qi from his ten fingers, he neither dodged nor retreated, but charged straight upward and burrowed into the mountain peak.
Layman Bloodrock shouted clearly, "Junior brother! Form the formation with me!" He called on Poison-Hand Moshi and the others to cast their spells swiftly, spraying great quantities of viscous black-Jin smoke. Like spiders spinning silk, they sealed the entire peak layer upon layer, winding around it again and again. Dark-red blood fiend qi seeped into the rock, staining it until it became one enormous dark-red bloodstone.
Poison-Hand Moshi had just lost several magic
