"Wh... what?"
Zhang Yuan froze instantly.
Ao Zhi had caused the deaths of three of the five True Dragon ancestors?
After a second's stupor, Zhang Yuan looked at Ao Zhi's seemingly genuine expression and asked for confirmation, "The five True Dragon ancestors weren't all Great Luo, were they?"
Ao Zhi nodded.
Zhang Yuan immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
If all five True Dragon ancestors had been Great Luo, yet Ao Zhi had caused three of their deaths in one go, he would have fled immediately, putting as much distance between himself and her as possible.
But just as Zhang Yuan relaxed, Ao Zhi quickly added:
"The Azure Ancestor was a Great Luo, one Ancestral Founder was a Great Immortal Lord, and the remaining three Ancestral Founders were Pre-Heaven Primordial Unity Divine Saints."
Zhang Yuan nearly choked on his breath. The corners of his eyes twitched wildly. Holding down his legs, which instinctively wanted to run, he steadied his turbulent Heart-Mind and Sea of Consciousness and asked, "Then which three did you get killed?"
Ao Zhi said proudly, "The three Primordial Unity Divine Saints, including Ao Ying. Two of them died, while Ao Ying should still be clinging to life in the Six Heavens Demon King Palace."
"You sound quite proud of yourself," Zhang Yuan said.
"Of course." Ao Zhi nodded without hesitation, showing no remorse whatsoever for what she had done in the Primordial Era.
Zhang Yuan grew interested and promptly asked, "Why did you try to get your own Ancestral Founders killed?"
At Zhang Yuan's question, Ao Zhi's face instantly darkened. Remembering something unpleasant, she sneered and said:
"Don't tell me you think the five Ancestral Founders were good people? In fact, every one of those five was much like your Human Race's Great Luo-all brimming with ambition.
