This was a shadowy expanse, in which stood a pitch-black hall of unimaginable size.
Darkness surged within the enormous hall. As black vapors rose, they seemed capable of devouring all life, lending the place a cold, sinister gloom.
Deep within the enormous hall, tier upon tier of black stone seats stretched endlessly into the distance.
At that moment, a figure stood upon every stone seat. Dark, evil auras wreathed these figures, making the surrounding space tremble faintly.
At the center of the hall's depths, thirty-two black thrones extended to either side in an arc. An enormous demonic figure occupied each of these thrones as well.
Yet on one enormous demonic throne, there were two figures...
As these demonic figures breathed, monstrous Demonic Energy raged around them, forming different demonic images behind them and exuding boundless, terrifying demonic might.
On the foremost of these thirty-two demonic thrones sat a figure wreathed in rising demonic flames. At times, those flames were as black as ink; at others, they shone with pure white light. The two alternated and flowed into each other in an exceedingly eerie display.
From beneath the swirling demonic flames, a gaze devoid of all emotion swept outward. Wherever it passed, space twisted and shifted.
"Is everyone here?"
An ethereal, low voice slowly emerged from within the demonic flames.
As the voice faded, a figure shrouded in black robes on the neighboring demonic throne raised his head slightly, revealing a pale, bloodless face.
His eyes were especially strange. Ripples spread through them in rings of black vortices, whose revolutions seemed to possess an indescribably uncanny power. A single glance could leave one utterly lost.
