Xuan Xi chuckled and waved a hand.
"You jest, Qing Si. Even I haven't had time to inspect the disciples' gains. Come, let's take a look together. Just don't nag me if you're disappointed."
Though the Blessed Land was rich, she had not held out much hope. After all, these were only Qi Refining juniors with limited knowledge, who usually pocketed whatever odds and ends they found as though they were treasures.
Past experience told her that even if there really were something valuable, the disciples might not recognize it—or might recognize it but be unable to obtain it.
Spirit treasures at the Qi Refining and Foundation Establishment levels were of little use to Purple Mansion cultivators, and scarcely interested them. Moreover, any spirit treasures or resources that reached the Purple Mansion level were either difficult to collect or dangerous in their own right.
Thus, aside from a handful of heaven's chosen, most cultivators came away with a bagful of Fetal Breathing and Qi Refining trinkets. Finding even one or two Foundation Establishment spirit treasures or mystic artifacts was already an exceptional haul.
"I doubt it will be that bad."
Qing Si tipped up her chin and continued.
"Along the way, I've seen joy and grief, some households rejoicing while others mourned. Rain Xiang Mountain sent the fewest disciples, yet every last one returned. They must have considerable fortune on their side. I'm already looking forward to it."
"All right, all right. As long as you're happy."
Seeing her excitement, Xuan Xi had no wish to spoil her mood and instead said,
"Even so, let me make this clear beforehand."
"Everything the disciples here obtained at the Qi Refining and Foundation Establishment levels belongs to them. If anything catches your eye, you must trade for it with their willing consent.
