"Hmph... what would it take for you to agree?"
Yuan Jun's golden eyes shone. Her lovely gaze shifted as an idea came to her, and she gave a soft huff.
"It's quite simple, really. You only need to agree to one request, my dear Jiang."
That "my dear Jiang" made Jiang Yang faintly uneasy, but his words were already out, and spilled water could not be gathered again. He could only reply:
"Since I'm asking a favor, naturally I'll leave it entirely to you, Yuan Jun."
"You said it yourself. Don't go back on your word later."
Seeing Jiang Yang nod, she immediately made to rise.
"Come, join me on the bed."
"Uh... you..."
Looking back at Jiang Yang's bewildered expression, Yuan Jun finally could not help laughing.
"What... does that not count as a request? Surely my dear Jiang wouldn't fatten himself on broken promises?"
Seeing how merrily she laughed, Jiang Yang could not help lowering his head and pressing a hand to his forehead.
"Please stop teasing me, Yuan Jun. In all seriousness, I'll owe you for this. In the future, I can do one thing for you, provided it doesn't go against my wishes."
Since so many powers across the world were watching him and thought highly of his prospects, Jiang Yang had faith in himself too. As his cultivation grew, a promise from him would become increasingly valuable, not something to be taken lightly.
Yet Yuan Jun seemed utterly unconcerned.
"I'm not after your future. I want to use that request right now. Will that do?"
