In the blink of an eye, heaven and earth had changed. Xuan Guang raised his eyes and looked around.
Below Vast Wilds Mountain lay a landscape washed in pale ink, with lush woods and red flowers carpeting the ground.
As the wind passed, countless leaves swayed gently, and flecks of light fluttered down like gold scattered over the earth, or solidified sunlight crushed into fragments, weaving a flowing haze of radiance through the tranquil realm.
Feeling that vast grandeur, Xuan Guang actually felt as at ease as a fish in water. The dust upon his heart seemed to fall away of its own accord, and every stray thought vanished.
I fear this place is no longer in the Mortal World. But it certainly isn't a Secret Realm...
This utterly different experience gave him an inkling. He turned back and asked:
"Forgive my limited knowledge and narrow vision. May I ask what immortal lineage the Dao Master belongs to, and in which Grotto-Heaven he resides?"
Hong Tong had been ordered to invite him here, so he concealed nothing now. Raising his chin slightly, he said solemnly:
"Of old, he stood foremost among Chihua's profound immortals; he paid homage to Shuoyuan's manifest Yang Dao. Hidden from the world as the Greenleaf Yang Minister, he dwells in Great Hua Heaven at the eastern pole."
Those four short lines were delivered plainly, without a trace of arrogance, yet they contained an enormous amount of information.
Xuan Guang was stunned for a moment, then realized that the one he was about to meet was probably no ordinary True Lord.
Of course, no one who had attained the Dao could be called ordinary, but this one was clearly even more "extraordinary." He pondered inwardly:
