- The Human Emperor demonstrates overwhelming power and uncompromising rule, but also invests in the human race’s future by elevating Xi Yang, preparing a campaign against the Demon Race, and supporting Qin. He is intrigued by Qin’s rapid rise and possible past-life identity, yet decides that Qin’s loyalty to humanity matters most.
- Xi Yang accepts that his time as emperor is over. Though he feels some resentment, relief is stronger as he becomes Crown Prince.
- Shan Hao escorts Qin to the palace and later sees him off; their exchange is cordial and respectful.
