Wen Ning's eyes snapped open. The first thing he felt as his awareness returned was that something heavy had pressed his left leg numb.

He turned his head for a look. At some point, Lu Ming had rolled into the middle of the bed, one leg sprawled across his thigh. The hem of his boxers had ridden up, and his leg hair bristled in the dim light, every strand distinct, like some kind of tropical plant.

Wen Ning felt utterly violated. He was no longer pure.

He took a deep breath and silently shoved Lu Ming's leg off him, with all the grim resolve of I'm not gay.

Lu Ming didn't even wake up from the shove. Had he gone straight back to sleep after his soul returned?

Wen Ning sat up, looked down at the leg that had been pinned, then looked at Lu Ming's blissfully oblivious sleeping face.

"You're certainly sleeping well."

He muttered the curse under his breath.

The next morning, Lu Ming was shaken awake by Wen Ning.

"Get up."

Wen Ning stood beside the bed, expressionless.

Lu Ming rubbed his eyes and sat up, letting out an enormous yawn before realizing he was in Wen Ning's bed.

He froze for two seconds, scratched his messy hair, then suddenly grinned.

"Hey, so we shared a bed last night, huh?"

Wen Ning shot him an icy glance.

"You put your leg on me last night."

Lu Ming blinked, looking perfectly innocent.

"That's it? It was just my thigh resting on you. Look how petty you're being."

He climbed out of bed as he spoke, even stretching deliberately.

Wen Ning looked away, feeling that both his eyes and his soul had suffered varying degrees of contamination.

"You're sleeping in your own room tonight."

Wen Ning said.

"No."

Lu
