After wrapping up the Black Sèhuì matter, the three of them took off straight from the stronghold.
Master Jin flew in front. He glanced back at the stronghold below, then turned away and stopped looking. The longer he looked, the harder it was to leave.
Lu Ming followed beside Wen Ning, both hands tucked into his sleeves, the wind whipping his hair into a mess.
Halfway through the flight, he suddenly turned his head and asked a question.

Wen Ning was a little curious too, so he flew ahead to draw level with Master Jin.
"By the way, Master Jin, what's your name?"
Master Jin glanced back at him and grinned.
"My name's Jin Big Tooth. Didn't Heavenly Venerable Wen tell you?"
"Big Tooth?"
Wen Ning froze for a moment.
"Big as in large?"
"Big as in large, tooth as in teeth,"
Master Jin said.
"Back when I used to bask in the sun on the riverbank, I had one especially big tooth that stuck out of my mouth. Later, when I cultivated enough to take human form, my teeth became normal, but I never changed the name."
Behind them, Lu Ming burst out laughing.
"Jin Big Tooth. That's pretty descriptive."
Master Jin turned back and glared at him.
"What are you laughing at? Lu Ming isn't much better. You're a deer spirit."
"What's wrong with my name? It's poetic."
"Your boss is called Wen Ning, and I don't see you laughing at him."
Lu Ming opened his mouth, then ran out of words.
The three flew through the clouds, chatting and laughing. The Southern Heavenly Gate was just ahead.
