Background / History
Recruiting Xiao Xiao
Bibi Dong first receives reports that Xiao Xiao awakened with innate rank-ninety Soul Power and immediately became a Titled Douluo. When Ju Hua Guan and Gui Mei question the reports, she withholds judgment until she can meet him. His arrival also attracts the Worship Hall’s attention: Qian Daoliu fears that recruiting him into the Papal Palace would disadvantage his own faction 5.
After Xiao Xiao is delayed by his encounter with Golden Crocodile Douluo, Bibi Dong sends Gui Mei to investigate. Upon meeting Xiao Xiao, she approves of his calm, neither servile nor overbearing manner and offers to accept him as her personal disciple. He agrees, and she has him introduced to Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation 6 7.
Accepting His Mixed Heritage
While arranging for Xiao Xiao to obtain rings for his first martial soul, Bibi Dong learns that he is half-human and half-soul beast. She accepts him as her disciple despite this revelation, but makes clear that betrayal of Spirit Hall would be punishable by death 9.
