Three shameless guys

"Cousin, what are you talking about? Do I look like someone who lies?" Ouyang Xuanxuan pouted and briefly recounted what had just happened.

She left out the money, though. She still had over a million in spending money tucked away in her private stash, so a few tens of thousands meant nothing to her.

Besides, as a girl, she simply couldn't bring herself to admit that she had torn a boy's clothes off.

"You mean he acted as if nothing had happened after he came around?" Jiang Ruoyi frowned. "How is that possible?" That part especially baffled her. Either he had been playing dead, or he was an expert.

She made up her mind to test his abilities if she got the chance.

"He was definitely playing dead! He tricked me out of my first kiss, the jerk!" Ouyang Xuanxuan said through gritted teeth. "Cousin, you have to help me get even next time we see him."

"All right, since you're fine, let's leave it at that." Unable to figure it out, Jiang Ruoyi decided not to dwell on it. "I'll have someone take care of your car. It'll probably take two or three days, so stay at my place for now."

"But what about registration?" Ouyang Xuanxuan asked worriedly.

"Official registration at Jinling University doesn't start until the day after tomorrow, and it lasts several days. What's the rush? Once your car is fixed, I'll come with you," Jiang Ruoyi said with a smile.

"Hehe... You're the best, Cousin Ruoyi. I've known that since I was little," Ouyang Xuanxuan said sweetly, linking her arm through Jiang Ruoyi's.

"You and that sweet tongue of yours." Jiang Ruoyi pinched her cheek and smiled. "Come on, get in. I'll take you home."

A few minutes later, Jiang Ruoyi's SUV roared away and disappeared at the end of the street.

Not long afterward, a tow truck quietly arrived, quickly loaded the sports car, and headed toward a private modification shop on the outskirts of the city.

By then, Li Yichen had crossed the campus and reached his dorm room, carefully opening the door.

In his experience, at this hour, his roommates were usually either still at the internet café or asleep.

"Holy shit..." The moment he opened the door, he jumped in fright.

Three people were staring straight at him with six eyes that almost seemed to glow blue. They looked like three hungry wolves. It was a little unnerving.

"What's wrong with you guys? Not sleeping? Were you waiting for me?" Li Yichen shut the door as he spoke, then went over to his locker, took out his key, opened it, and stuffed his bag inside.

"Number Four," Yang Weifeng said. "Be honest. Did you get some inside information yesterday? Is that why you didn't come back to the dorm?"

"Yeah! Confess and we'll go easy on you," Sun Kai added indignantly.

"Resist and we'll come down hard," Zhang Yong chimed in.

"What are you guys talking about?" Li Yichen asked in confusion as he changed his clothes. "Why can't I understand a word you're saying?" He frowned. His buddies were acting strange today. Why did this feel like a criminal interrogation?

The three exchanged glances before Yang Weifeng continued, "Did you know the college was going to inspect the dorms last night?"

"They inspected the dorms yesterday?" Li Yichen's hands froze. "Did they catch me?" he asked uneasily.

"Yep." All three nodded together.

Li Yichen's face fell. He felt terribly unlucky. He was already a sophomore and had never encountered a single dorm inspection.

Yet the one time they checked, yesterday of all days, he had been caught. Where was the justice in that? Was he really some legendary king of bad luck?

"What punishment do you get for being caught?" Li Yichen asked nervously.

He had already decided that if the punishment was too severe, he would sneak into the college offices that night and alter the records. With his supernatural ability, wouldn't that be a piece of cake?

"You really don't know?" Yang Weifeng looked at him doubtfully.

"I don't know a damn thing!" Li Yichen immediately protested in anguish. "Don't tell me... the university expelled me?"

"Expelled?" Sun Kai glared at him and said bitterly, "You lucky bastard. If I'd known, I would've spent last night at the internet café." His voice was so sour with envy that they could have used it to season a stir-fry.

"Exactly..." Yang Weifeng and Zhang Yong said in unison.

"So what exactly is the punishment?" Li Yichen was utterly bewildered. They almost seemed upset that they hadn't been caught.

"Freshman registration starts the day after tomorrow. Anyone who wasn't in the dorm last night has to volunteer to welcome the freshmen and make up for their offense," Sun Kai said through gritted teeth.

Hearing that he only had to volunteer, Li Yichen breathed a sigh of relief. "That's it? It doesn't sound like a big deal. Why do you all look like someone died?"

Whoosh! Three fierce gazes instantly shot toward him. If looks could kill, Li Yichen would already have been dead.

"Number Four, are you deliberately trying to piss us off?" Yang Weifeng slapped the table. "Do you know how coveted those freshman-welcome volunteer spots are?"

"Exactly," Zhang Yong added. "Never mind the sophomore horndogs—even the single guys in their third and fourth years have been eagerly waiting for this day."

"Just thinking about all those innocent, adorable freshman girls falling into the clutches of those animals..." Sun Kai gritted his teeth. "It makes me so miserable I want to bang my head against a wall."

"I'm going on a hunger strike..."

"I'm giving up the internet..."

For a moment, the dorm room filled with howls and wails.

Li Yichen awkwardly rubbed his nose. His roommates' testosterone levels seemed to be going off the charts.

"Stop... Cut it out..." Li Yichen hurriedly stopped them before they gave in to the urge to tear the room apart.

Seeing their hostile looks, he quickly spoke up to save himself from a beating. "You just want to volunteer to welcome the freshmen, right? I've got a way."

The three straight guys instantly turned into three shameless guys, practically drooling.

Yang Weifeng even pulled Li Yichen over to sit on the edge of the bed. "Come on, Number Four, don't just stand there. Have a seat."

Sun Kai hurriedly began kneading Li Yichen's shoulders. "Number Four, how's the pressure?" Then he called to Zhang Yong, "Number Three, get Number Four a cup of hot water! Where are your manners?"

"You got it! Coming right up." Zhang Yong immediately jogged off to pour a cup of hot water, then handed it to Li Yichen. "Here you go, Number Four..."

As Yang Weifeng massaged Li Yichen's legs, he asked with a fawning grin, "Number Four, how have we always treated you?"

Li Yichen took a sip of hot water and said leisurely, "You've all treated me like your own brother."

"Then tell me, what's your plan?" Yang Weifeng immediately pressed.

"That, I cannot reveal. This wise man has a cunning plan." Li Yichen wagged his head, looking thoroughly inscrutable.

"Fine, don't tell us." All three curled their lips, and Yang Weifeng and Sun Kai simply walked away.

"Give me that." Zhang Yong snatched the cup from his hand. "Not telling, huh? If you want water, pour it yourself."

"Do you guys have to be so mercenary?" Li Yichen asked with a wry smile.

"Tch..." Almost simultaneously, all three turned and flipped him the middle finger.

They were all dorm mates. Who didn't know everyone else inside out? They had simply taken Li Yichen's words as a joke and hadn't believed him at all.
