"I wasn't." The disciple trembled with fright and hurriedly bowed his head. "I just... just thought it would be safer to inform the sect leader now."
Qin Minghai said nothing, but someone immediately stepped forward to argue, "The Spirit Stone Mound is just an abandoned place. How powerful could a demon who went there possibly be?"
"Exactly... with Senior Brother Qin going, he'll capture them with ease. We'll get to see him in action again."
"Senior Brother Qin is mighty..."
"Senior Brother Qin is the best..."
A smug look crossed Qin Ming's face, and he declared, "Anyone who wants to come may join me." With that, he ignored the disciple.
Then, with a thought, he rose into the air. He casually opened a Spatial Gate and flew out.
The dozen or so disciples behind him hurriedly summoned their flying swords and followed, their faces filled with excitement.
Meanwhile, in a secluded cave on Kunlun Snow Mountain, Bai Binger looked worriedly at the beautiful middle-aged woman sitting cross-legged on a stone bed. "Master, are you really not coming back to the Secret Realm with me?"
"With these injuries, I'd only be waiting to die wherever I went." The beautiful woman sighed. "After I die, seal my body in ice here in these snowy mountains."
Bai Binger's eyes immediately reddened. She laid her head on the woman's lap and looked up at her through tears. "Master, you can't leave Bing'er all alone."
"You foolish girl." The woman stroked her head, a smile appearing on her face as she teased, "One day, you'll meet someone who will stay by your side and protect you for the rest of your life. It's just... a shame I won't live to see that day."
Bai Binger shook her head firmly. "I'll stay with you forever, Master.
