"No... impossible..." Duan Zhiyuan felt all the strength drain from his body. Tears streamed down his face. Was his daughter dead?
"This isn't real... my Xia was such a good girl. How could she have jumped off a building..." Duan Zhiyuan sobbed. Then, as though remembering something, he struggled to his feet.
He wanted to know the truth. He wanted to know what his sweet daughter had gone through to make her choose to jump. Most of all, he wanted to know whether his daughter was really dead.
His eyes were bloodshot now. Like a maddened beast, he frantically searched the crowd for the young man from earlier.
He must know something. He must know... That was the only thought in his mind.
The students around him recoiled from his savage, beastlike expression and gave him a wide berth. Even more pointed at him and whispered.
But he could no longer hear anything. Only one obsession remained in his mind: finding that young man.
Yet after scanning the crowd several times, he still found no trace of him.
His chest felt as though something had clogged it. Suddenly, he opened his mouth and spat out a spray of blood.
"Ah... that man's coughing up blood... that's so scary..."

The onlookers scattered.
Duan Zhiyuan slowly raised his head and looked up at the sky.
The sky was as dark and oppressive as his heart. A downpour seemed imminent.
Suddenly, he clenched his fists, opened his mouth, and roared, "Ah... ah..."
Just then, a baton smashed into his head. Blood immediately streamed down from his scalp and into his eyes, turning everything before him red.
Then his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed.
"Shut the fuck up!" the security guard cursed
