Even This Tiny Wolf Cub Had the Makings of a Great Emperor

Cai Jingwen stood beside Chen Hao. Though she felt a little nervous, what had happened with the rampaging bull earlier had given her an inexplicable trust in him.

Looking at Chen Hao's composed profile, she said softly, "I'm coming with you too. I trust you."

Deep down, she felt that this man possessed a power beyond ordinary people. If he said everything would be fine, then it would be. She was willing to follow him to see the most breathtaking sights in the world.

Chen Hao glanced at their determined faces and said calmly, "Li Li, stay in the car and lock the doors. We'll be back soon."

With that, he led Chen Siyao, Yang Wanqing, and Cai Jingwen toward the distant mountain hollow.

Just then, the Snow Leopard attacked first!

It sprang forward like lightning, slashing its sharp claws at the Wolf King! To protect the cub behind her, the Wolf King had no choice but to meet it head-on.

The two beasts instantly became locked in a savage struggle. Claws tore, fangs bit, fur flew, and blood splattered over the rocks as piercing roars rang out. The scene was brutal and breathtaking!

The agile Snow Leopard held the advantage. Distracted again and again by the need to protect her cub, the Wolf King suffered one bloody gash after another. As her wounds multiplied, her movements grew slower, and she gradually lost ground. She was about to give out!

Chen Hao led the others forward, crouched down, and looked at the dying Wolf King.

Her breathing was faint and her body drenched in blood, but her eyes remained bright. Slowly raising her head, she first glanced at the cub behind her, her gaze filled with reluctance to leave and lingering worry—the tenderness of a mother.

Then she turned her gaze to Chen Hao, her eyes pleading, entrusting. It was as though she were asking him to care for her orphaned child, hoping to leave it with this human whose immense power she could sense.

Chen Hao's fingertips gently brushed over the Wolf King's cub's head, and his gaze sharpened slightly. This cub actually carried the bloodline of the Elder Moonshadow Wolf! It had the makings of a Wolf King, a one-in-ten-thousand rarity!

The Moonshadow Wolf possessed the bloodline of a Primordial Divine Beast, born with the ability to control moonlight and shadows and command wolf packs.
