Huang Qiaoling watched Chen Hao holding Chen Siyao's arm and kept gushing, "Yaoyao, your brother is just too perfect! He's handsome, gentle, and so amazing. I'm seriously a fan for life! I didn't even dare stand too close to him for the photo. I was so nervous!"

Chen Siyao burst out laughing at her. "You're usually so chatty in the livestream. How come you lost your nerve when you met him in person?"

"That's completely different!" Huang Qiaoling hugged her notebook, her face glowing with happiness. "I was meeting our godlike big brother in person! How could I not be nervous? I have to post our photo in the fan group and make them all jealous!"

Huang Qiaoling held on to Chen Siyao and rattled on some more, saying things like, "You have to stream more," "Get Brother Chen Hao on camera more often," and "We miss him so much."

Chen Siyao nodded repeatedly. "Okay, okay, I'll stream when I get home. Hurry upstairs. It's hot out here."

Huang Qiaoling gave Chen Hao a reluctant look, then headed into the building, glancing back every few steps.

When she reached the entrance, she turned around and called, "Chen Hao! Come visit us often!"

Chen Hao nodded.

Huang Qiaoling finally went inside.

Chen Hao reminded Chen Siyao, "Go on upstairs. Pay attention in class, and come home early tonight."

Chen Siyao thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay. You can head home, then. I'm going upstairs."

Chen Hao handed her the suitcase. "Call me if you need anything."

"I know!" Chen Siyao took the suitcase, waved at him, and turned to enter the dormitory.

Chen Hao stayed where he was, watching until she disappeared into the hallway before turning to leave.

Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows across the ground.
