The evening breeze swept through the woods, bringing a refreshing chill tinged with the smell of blood.
Jun Wangchen felt not the slightest guilt or remorse over killing them. He knew that if he had been weaker, he would have been the one lying on the ground.
"N-no... don't kill me!" The masked woman curled up on the ground, hugging her legs, her face filled with terror.
Her fear of Jun Wangchen had reached its peak. If heaven truly gave her another chance, she would have chosen suicide rather than come to capture him.
Jun Wangchen looked at the masked woman and said flatly, "Give me a reason not to kill you."
"I... I can do anything. As long as you don't kill me, I'll do whatever you want." The woman removed her mask, revealing a beautiful face. By the time she finished speaking, her cheeks had flushed.
She was only twenty-five or twenty-six and had never experienced intimacy with a man, so she was naturally shy about such things.
But now, to stay alive, even sacrificing her body would be worth it.
"Anything?" Jun Wangchen stared at her for three seconds before saying calmly, "Fine. I happen to need a servant. You'll fill that role."
As he spoke, he touched the tips of his left thumb and index finger together to form a ring, extending the other three fingers in an arc. He inserted his right thumb into the ring, wrapped his remaining four fingers around his left hand, and held both hands before his chest.
"Soul of All Things, commune with me!" As his quiet chant ended, an invisible hand emerged above Jun Wangchen's head and lunged toward the woman.
The instant it touched her, a mass of red energy flew out of the top of her head
