One man with one gun brought an eerie silence over the entire parking lot.
"I didn't expect you to be a martial artist too. You're pretty good, but this is where it ends." The lead pursuer held his pistol against Jun Wangchen's head.
"Hands up. Turn around, and don't even think about fighting back. I'm not that stupid!"
Jun Wangchen's expression remained unchanged. Looking at the lead pursuer, he suddenly smiled. "If you hadn't said all that and had simply fired when I turned around, I might not have been able to fight back. But now, who knows?"
The lead pursuer frowned, unable to understand what Jun Wangchen meant.
Yet the very next second, his face filled with terror.
He discovered that the gun he had been pointing at Jun Wangchen had turned around and was now aimed at himself.
"Wh-what..." His scalp prickled. Gritting his teeth, he tried to force his hand to turn the gun back toward Jun Wangchen, but it was no use.
An invisible force bound his hand, twisting it backward against his will and even forcing him to pull the trigger.
The terror on his face deepened. When his finger curled toward the trigger without his permission, his fear reached its peak.
"No... don't..."
Bang!
His terrified cries did nothing to change his fate.
As the gunshot rang out, the lead pursuer's eyes widened. Blood ran down his forehead, and he collapsed limply to the ground.
Perhaps even in his final moment, he was still wondering what on earth had happened.
After killing the lead pursuer, Jun Wangchen did not let his guard down. The instant the man fell, he had heard the faint sound of a gun being cocked.
That meant another pursuer was still hiding in the shadows and had not shown himself.
