Da Bu found it rather amusing.
He was an elder of the Cloudrise Tribe. Though he was not particularly renowned, he was at least far more distinguished than an outsider.
To him, accompanying someone who raised a low-tier Demon Beast like a Greenwood Dog to a Beast Duel was nothing short of an insult to his status.
Seeing Da Bu turn and leave, Han Ling'er's expression changed drastically. She hurried after him and whispered a few words in his ear.
"Are you certain?" Da Bu glanced at Han Ling'er in surprise and questioned her.
Han Ling'er glanced at Han Fan and gritted her teeth. "I'm certain!"
"In that case, I'll put aside my prejudice and help your brother." Da Bu swept Jun Wangchen with a contemptuous glance and strode forward, his expression brimming with arrogance.
Han Ling'er breathed a sigh of relief and signaled Han Fan with her eyes, telling him to follow.
As she passed Jun Wangchen, a trace of disgust showed in her eyes. Clearly, she believed Han Fan had refused to listen to her entirely because Jun Wangchen had led him astray.
"Senior, let's go!" Han Fan remained unmoved. He firmly believed that Jun Wangchen was much stronger than Da Bu.
Jun Wangchen nodded, his expression as calm as ever. Han Ling'er and Da Bu's disparaging remarks had not angered him in the slightest.
At his level, petty remarks like these could no longer stir his heart.
The four of them made their way to the Cloudrise Tribe's Back Hill.
A large square lay at the center of the Back Hill, now crowded with people engaged in animated discussion.
"I heard Han Fan is going to face that fellow Han Xin in a Beast Duel soon?"
"Yes, I heard that too. I really don't know what gives
