By the time they finished dinner, it was already seven in the evening. Seeing how late it was, Jun Wangchen and Wang Nuli did not linger outside. After saying goodbye to Xu Yirou, they headed back to their dorm.
Inside, Zhang Zhengxiao and Ke JiusI were dressed unusually formally, as though they were about to attend some grand ceremony.
"Are you two going... on blind dates?" Jun Wangchen looked them up and down, utterly baffled.
"What blind dates? We're going to the campus concert hosted by Feng Fu, the music and dance campus belle. Apparently, one segment involves randomly picking a lucky audience member to play games with her onstage. If I get picked, these three years at university won't have been wasted!" Zhang Zhengxiao licked his lips, his eyes filled with the hunger of a ravenous wolf about to hunt.
"Ever since this semester started, we've been hearing that Feng Fu was going to hold a campus concert, but it kept falling through for one reason or another. I've been waiting for months, and it's finally here."
Ke JiusI nodded, sounding rather wistful. "Back at our freshman welcome ceremony, Feng Fu sang 'Tears Shatter the Broken Rainbow' and made half the audience cry. Even some of the music department's teachers admitted they couldn't compare. That song is still number one on Jinling University's charts. Nobody's beaten it."
"After hearing her sing back then, I rode my motorcycle like a tractor, all fired up and bursting with passion. Still, I could only give the song eighty-eight points, because the traffic cops took the other twelve."
Looking at their dreamy eyes and slightly parted lips, Jun Wangchen felt a distinctly gay vibe filling the room. He hurriedly stepped back, speechless. "Could you two stop being so dramatic? It's just a concert.
