As he flew through the air, the Prince felt the world spin around him.
By the time he came to his senses, Brick was already holding him in one hand.
Only then did an expression other than arrogance finally appear on his face.
"You... you actually dared to lay a hand on me?!"
His face was full of disbelief.
Brick could not be bothered to speak to this idiot. He simply carried him straight over to Randall.
"Sir! I've apprehended him!"
With that, he tossed the Prince onto the ground.
The Prince was delicate and pampered. Even a scratch from a blade of grass would normally leave him complaining in pain for ages. He had never suffered anything like this before, and he immediately began howling, tears spilling from his eyes.
"You... you lowborn scum!
Just you wait! Once my father gets here, I'll have you all killed!"
The Prince still had not grasped the severity of his situation and continued to rant.
"Is that so?"
Randall's voice was chilling.
He kicked the Prince, who was writhing on the ground like a maggot, onto his back, then planted a foot on his chest.
"Lowborn scum! You damned lowborn scum!
Let go of me this instant! I'm a Prince!
Scum! Bastards!"
The pain only fueled the Prince's rage.
His blazing eyes fixed on Randall, as though he wanted to skin him alive and tear out his tendons.
Randall had grown tired of being called lowborn scum over and over.
He crouched down and delivered two resounding slaps to the Prince's face.
"Aaah!"
His screams shook the air.
The Prince's once fair, clean face swelled and reddened before their eyes.
At first, he could not believe it. Then rage and resentment swallowed him whole.
