At Randall's words, Flesh Ball hurriedly asserted his authority as Grand Chancellor and ordered,
"Quick, quick, quick! Get out of here, and take these women with you. Be careful not to hurt them."
Then he turned to Randall, all his earlier authority vanishing. His face became a mask of flattery as he bowed and scraped.
"Hehe, take your time talking, gentlemen. I'll withdraw all the guards nearby in a moment."
With that, he headed outside.
As he walked, he kept urging the soldiers to hurry while reminding them not to hurt the women.
Soon, everyone who had no business being there had left the hall.
Randall gave Brick another glance. Brick immediately took the hint and led the soldiers out of the hall.
He was curious too, but his superior and this mysterious man clearly had something important to discuss.
Dragon pulled back his hood and spoke.
"Can you tell me now?"
Although he did not know what Randall had meant earlier, he keenly sensed that it must be very important to him.
Instead of explaining right away, Randall said,
"Let me first tell you about this country's situation..."
Dragon did not know what Randall was up to, but despite his eagerness, he listened patiently.
Once he had heard everything, a powerful gust of wind suddenly erupted around him.
"Bastard!"
Only now did he realize who those women were. Every last one of them was a victim!
No, the entire country was a victim!
"Where is that animal?"
Even with Dragon's face hidden in shadow, Randall could see the murderous glare in his eyes.
"Over there." Randall pointed.
Dragon looked in the direction Randall indicated, then fell silent.
He did not need to ask to know this was Randall's handiwork. Only Randall would dare lay a hand on a king.
