The Elegant Five Elder sighed inwardly, but kept a faint smile on his face as he explained things to the Scarface Five Elder.
"In short, you can think of it as using that man to lure out everyone else with ambitions, while also using him to make the balance of the seas more stable."
As for the more complicated matters, such as attracting more affiliated nations and making the World Government's existence even more important, there was no need to elaborate. Even if he explained them, the Scarface Five Elder would probably just look baffled.
"Oh, so that's how it is." The Scarface Five Elder looked enlightened after hearing the explanation.
Then he complained, "You could've explained that in a sentence or two, yet you insisted on going to all that trouble to say something incomprehensible. You really have nothing better to do!
"In the time you spent thinking up those awkward metaphors, you could've explained it plainly several times over!"
The other Elders smiled without saying anything, as though they were watching a talking roe deer.
Only by speaking like that could they make themselves seem a cut above the Scarface Five Elder.
"Then do we still need to continue the mission in the South Blue?"
The blond Elder asked.
"It doesn't matter anymore. We've achieved our objective. There's no need.
"He's merely the Pirate King's child. Even if he's still alive, it doesn't matter.
"If we could kill Roger, we can certainly kill that child."
The Elegant Five Elder said.
The others nodded in agreement.
They had credited themselves with Roger's death, completely ignoring the fact that he had turned himself in.
"If he stays quietly hidden in some corner, so be it. But if he dares show himself, he dies!"
One of the Elders radiated murderous intent.
