Birka had descended into chaos as well.
Everyone had seen the strange island. Panic spread, and people began wondering whether the end of the world was upon them.
As the island was tossed about, some black specks were flung off it and fell toward Birka.
Only when they drew closer did the Black Mountain King see that they weren't black specks at all. They were all living animals of every bizarre description.
