The voice on the other end sounded hostile.
"Perospero, you never told me that Marine was strong enough to go toe-to-toe with an Emperor."
Perospero's expression shifted. "I didn't know that myself."
The man on the other end said:
"I don't care whether you knew or not. Thanks to this job, I've already lost contact with four of my elite killers.
"Since the information you provided was wrong, you'll have to compensate me for my losses. Your deposit won't be refunded, either.
"And if you refuse...
"I imagine you're calling because you're scared, aren't you? You want to cancel the contract.
"I'm sure Vice Admiral Randall would be very interested to know who hired those killers."
Hearing this, Perospero's temper flared.
"Are you threatening me?! You dare threaten the Charlotte Family?!"
