"Mr. Randall, aren't you going to kill them?"
Seeing that Randall didn't seem inclined to finish them off, Ace couldn't help wondering.
These people were in terrible shape. This was the perfect time to kill them.
Still, with Randall's strength, it made no difference whether they were in good shape or bad.
Randall looked at the pirates glaring at him and sighed.
"Ah, if I were going by my personal feelings...
I'd love to kill these pirates.
But I can't let my emotions rule me.
After all, having them around keeps a fair number of pirates in check."
In Randall's eyes, the Red Hair Pirates were all scum.
But among pirates, scum like this actually counted as good people.
Ace only half understood, but he did realize that keeping them alive offered more benefits than killing them outright.
He then looked at Randall with admiration.

"That really was a complete and utter defeat."

Struggling, he stood up on his one remaining leg.
Randall had torn off his right leg.
And his remaining arm was his right one.
It took Shanks some effort to find his balance.
