Spring, Konoha Year 29.
Inside the lecture hall at Naka Shrine, dozens of young members of the Uchiha Clan sat on the floor in two groups. On the blackboard before them, the topic of the day's lesson was written clearly in ink:
"Clan governance, diplomatic dynamics, and strategic defense"
The lecturer was none other than the newly appointed Uchiha Clan Head-Uchiha Shinichi.
"If we want to preserve our clan, we must understand one thing." Shinichi stood at the front of the hall, speaking in a calm, measured voice. "No matter how powerful ninjutsu is, it is only a blade for killing enemies. Strategy, wisdom, and cooperation are what truly allow us to stand firm in the Shinobi World."
Below him, the young people held their breath and listened intently.
Some were already Chunin, and others even served in the Konoha Military Police Force, but none had ever listened with such concentration.
This was more than a simple lecture on ninjutsu-it was an awakening of their minds.
Shinichi gazed at the attentive boys and girls, his eyes thoughtful.
He knew today's class might not lead them to understand anything immediately, but the seed of "reform" had quietly taken root.
This lesson was part of the Uchiha New Education System Shinichi was implementing.
He had completely overturned the old, one-dimensional approach that prized strength above all else, establishing a clan school modeled on the Ninja Academy's comprehensive education while going further by introducing politics, economics, strategy, psychology, management, and other subjects.
Besides their daily ninjutsu training, Uchiha children now had to attend academic classes at set times each day. These classes were no longer taught by combat shinobi, but jointly by knowledgeable, literate clan elders and outside instructors.
And so Shinichi had strong-armed Nara Shinsuke into teaching with a "generous gift."
At
