Lightning Release Chakra Mode

At the Senju Main Residence, sunlight spilled across the courtyard, a gentle breeze stirred, and the fragrance of tea filled the air.

As usual, Tobirama Senju and Uchiha Shinichi sat on the wooden veranda overlooking the courtyard, a game board between them. Their teacups touched the wooden table with crisp clinks.

"Old man, no cheating this time." Shinichi lounged against a pillar, lifting his teacup as he glanced sidelong at the board.

Tobirama smiled faintly and took a small sip of tea, a glint of mischief flashing in his eyes. "Relax. I won't go easy on a child."

"Tch. All talk." Shinichi curled his lip but said nothing more, reaching out to place a stone.

Leisurely days might have been a luxury for Konoha's leadership, but to Shinichi, this was his ideal life—brewing tea, playing board games, slacking off, and occasionally teasing Tsunade. Life was wonderfully comfortable.

Yet in another courtyard not far away, the atmosphere was entirely different.

Tsunade was focused on practicing sealing jutsu. Sweat trickled down her temples as she gathered chakra in her hands, slowly tracing out intricate jutsu formulas.

Mito Uzumaki stood beside her, her gaze gentle but her tone allowing no room for laziness. "Tsunade, you've already mastered the core principles of sealing jutsu, but combining it with medical ninjutsu is the true essence of the Strength of a Hundred Technique."

Tsunade took a deep breath and gritted her teeth, continuing to gather chakra as she inscribed the formula on her forehead and felt its faintly pulsing energy.

"Whew..." She slowly exhaled. The formula on her forehead gradually faded, marking another step toward truly mastering the Strength of a Hundred Technique.

She slowly raised her head and looked toward Shinichi and Tobirama nearby. They were leisurely playing their game and brewing tea, their laughter and chatter drifting over from time to time.

Tsunade immediately felt irritated.

She was training hard, breaking through her limits, and giving everything she had to reach Kage Level. And that guy?

All he did was slack off every day. He was even lazier than her second grandfather!

Yet somehow, that lazy Uchiha Shinichi kept getting stronger. Worse still, he was stronger than her!

"Damn it! Once I fully master the Strength of a Hundred Technique, I'm going to beat that guy to a pulp!" Tsunade clenched her fists and turned back to her training with a determined gaze.

Nearby, Shinichi seemed to sense a trace of hostility. He glanced up at Tsunade, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly. "Old man, do you think Tsunade has a problem with me?"

Without raising his head, Tobirama placed a stone and said calmly, "That's a good thing."

"Huh?" Shinichi blinked.

"She'll push herself to catch up because she feels pressure from you," Tobirama said evenly, lifting his cup for a small sip. "Rather than letting her become obsessed with winning, I'd prefer she turn that frustration into motivation."

Shinichi's lips curved upward, and he casually arched an eyebrow. "So you're using me as a whetstone?"

Tobirama glanced at him. "Do you object?"

Shinichi shrugged. "Of course not. Watching other people work hard is my favorite pastime."

As he spoke, he tilted his head toward Tsunade, who was gritting her teeth as she trained in the distance, and gave a meaningful smile.

"But, little Tsunade, no matter how hard you try, you'll never catch up to me."

As if sensing his gaze, Tsunade glared fiercely back at him.

"Uchiha Shinichi! Just you wait!"

Shinichi arched an eyebrow, his smile growing brighter. "I'll be waiting."

At that moment, Tsunade's resolve only grew firmer.

She was going to surpass Shinichi!

She would absolutely make that infuriating guy take back his claim that she would "never catch up"!

A gentle breeze drifted through the courtyard of the Senju Main Residence. Black and white stones lay interspersed across the board, while faint wisps of fragrant steam rose from the teacups.

Shinichi casually placed a stone, then looked at Tobirama Senju with a teasing glint in his eyes and a slight smile. "By the way, old man Tobirama, do you have any information on the Raikage's Lightning Release Chakra Mode?"

Tobirama Senju took a sip of tea, his expression composed. "What are you trying to say?"

Tobirama narrowed his eyes, studying Shinichi intently. "Do you intend to develop it yourself, or obtain the complete training method from the Raikage?"

Shinichi chuckled and waved a hand casually. "From the Raikage? You've got to be kidding. Kumogakure guards against me like I'm a thief, and they've put a hefty bounty on my head. If I dared show up, the entire village would probably come out to greet me."

The faintest hint of a smile tugged at Tobirama's lips. "You certainly understand the impact you've made."

"Heh, of course." Shinichi shrugged, his eyes gleaming with eagerness. "Since I can't learn it openly, I'll research it myself! Tell me, old man Tobirama, if I pull this off, do you think I'll be even stronger than the Raikage?"

Tobirama glanced at him, his calm tone carrying a touch of amusement. "That will depend on your talent and how much effort you put in."

Shinichi grinned, his eyes full of fighting spirit. "I've got the talent. As for effort... we'll see whether the system rewards give me any pleasant surprises."
