At Crasher Wake's command, Floatzel suddenly let out a loud cry. As Floatzel thrust both arms outward, the red glow dispersed, and a sweep of both arms sent two enormous blades of light straight at Roserade. Roserade immediately leaped up, narrowly avoiding the two Razor Winds. With two resounding crashes, Floatzel's attack sliced the entire battle platform into pieces.
"Now, Ice Fang!" The instant Roserade dodged, Floatzel rushed closer, appearing directly opposite Roserade and unleashing the move at Crasher Wake's command.
"Leaf Storm!" Liu Qing had already anticipated that Floatzel would seize the chance to attack. As Roserade leaped, Petal Dance had already begun transforming into Leaf Storm. With a sharp cry from Roserade, a jade-green whirlwind surged violently toward Floatzel. As it advanced, it ground even the icy fangs formed by Ice Fang into powder, then struck Floatzel head-on, driving Floatzel into a battle platform and knocking Floatzel unconscious.
"Floatzel is unable to battle. Roserade wins!" the referee announced.
"Thanks for your hard work, Floatzel. Get some rest!" Crasher Wake recalled Floatzel, then looked at Liu Qing. "Liu Qing, it's truly impressive that you've pushed me this far. Power, speed, coordination-you're outstanding in every respect. I couldn't be more satisfied! This is my last Pokémon. Dance, Ludicolo!" With that, Crasher Wake threw his final Poké Ball. As it opened, a cheerful Ludicolo appeared on a battle platform, dancing merrily.
"Come back, Roserade!" Liu Qing took out a Poké Ball and recalled Roserade, then threw his third Poké Ball into the air. "Chandelure, I'm counting on you!" The ball opened, and Chandelure appeared in midair.
"Another Pokémon you almost never see in Sinnoh! Come on, then. Let me see whether its abilities can break through my Ludicolo!" Crasher Wake shouted.
"Chandelure, Inferno!" Liu Qing gave the first command.
"Ludicolo, Astonish!"
