Legend held that the sea of flowers had begun north of Floaroma Town, and the flowers there were indeed more lush and vibrant than anywhere else. As Liu Qing stepped onto that land, Little Shaymin seemed to realize something. It jumped out of his arms and ran off. Everyone hurried after it and found it standing before the shattered Shaymin statue.
Little Shaymin stared blankly at the broken statue, tears welling in its eyes without falling. It turned to Liu Qing as he caught up and called out twice.
"What does it mean?" Nurse Joy asked anxiously.
"It wants to go inside, and it wants me to go with it!" Liu Qing walked over to Little Shaymin. It stretched out a foreleg, sending ripples spreading outward as though it had touched the surface of water. A dim gateway of light spiraled open. Little Shaymin called to Liu Qing a few times, looking hesitant.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here!" Liu Qing picked Little Shaymin up and turned to Nurse Joy and the townspeople. With their encouraging gazes upon him, he stepped through the gateway.
The world spun around him. When Liu Qing regained his senses and opened his eyes, he found himself in a space where the earth was barren and cracked beneath a mottled gray sky. An oppressive stillness filled the air.
Little Shaymin seemed uncomfortable with the atmosphere and squirmed uneasily in Liu Qing's arms. He patted its body to help it relax, and only then did it begin calling out in a wistful tone.
"You always lived here with your Marr. Flowers used to bloom everywhere, and night never came. Your Marr would play with you..." Listening to Little Shaymin, Liu Qing could almost see Shaymin and its little one playing happily in a field of flowers. Sadly,
