Minccino looked around and realized she had no hope of escaping, then flicked her tail and sent a mass of stars hurtling toward Croagunk.
"Croagunk, Vacuum Wave!" Lusana immediately countered Minccino's Swift. Croagunk brought his hands together at his waist, then thrust them toward the incoming stars. With an explosive crack, every star burst into dazzling motes of light that twinkled around him before gradually fading, making him look all the more charming.
"What an amazing Vacuum Wave! It's so beautiful!" Dawn exclaimed, her eyes shining. Liu Yuan nodded repeatedly, clearly impressed by Lusana's Croagunk as well.
"Nicely done, Croagunk! Next, use Mud Bomb!" Minccino had clearly been captivated by the light from the bursting stars, her eyes gleaming with admiration. Naturally, Lusana seized the opportunity and launched an attack at once, sending a barrage of mud clumps straight at her.
For a cleanliness-loving Minccino, Mud Bomb was every bit as effective as a Fighting-type move. She scrambled desperately to escape the barrage, while Croagunk took the opportunity to close in.
