"Hariyama, Dynamic Punch!" Bruno thrust out a fist as he ordered a follow-up attack.
After hurling Rhyperior away, Hariyama was panting rapidly with exhaustion. Even so, upon hearing Bruno's command, Hariyama quickly struck back, clenching a right fist that shone with white light and leaping into the air before plunging toward the spot where Rhyperior had fallen, using gravity to accelerate.
"Hariyama's Vital Throw certainly surprised me, but Rhyperior won't go down that easily!" Though startled by Hariyama's attack, Liu Qing had not lost faith in Rhyperior. With a confident expression, he commanded, "Rhyperior, use Horn Drill on the ground!"
Rhyperior's ability, Solid Rock, provided considerable resistance to super-effective attacks. Although Rhyperior's bulk made it impossible to get up and dodge quickly, that very position made Liu Qing's command possible. The horn on Rhyperior's forehead spun rapidly and bored straight into the battlefield. With a fierce roar, Rhyperior heaved up a huge slab of ground and flipped it toward Hariyama. Hariyama's fully charged punch shattered it in midair, but it had bought Rhyperior time and blunted the force of the attack.
"Arm Thrust!" Liu Qing's timing was precise, and he wasted no opportunity, swiftly issuing his command.
Once back on both feet, Rhyperior was no longer in the path of Hariyama's attack. Despite that bulky frame, however, Hariyama was exceptionally agile. As the right fist brushed past Rhyperior and missed, Hariyama gathered power in the left fist and struck back. But Rhyperior was already waiting at the side, ready to attack, and was faster. A right arm blazing with white light slammed straight into Hariyama's chest. A ring of air burst outward as the heavy blow sent Hariyama flying.
"Rhyperior, Stone Edge!" Now that Liu Qing controlled the pace of the battle, he immediately gave another command.
"Hariyama, block it!"
