On the training field, Vulpix was already panting with exhaustion, but its eyes remained determined!
Hassman smiled slightly and said, "Take a break. We'll train some more later!"
"Okay!" Hu Bin said, then rushed onto the field and scooped Vulpix into his arms!
"You did really well, Vulpix. Get some rest, and we'll train again later!"
"Vul!" Vulpix replied with a smile.
During the break, Vulpix and Sandslash drank water and ate Pokéblocks to replenish their strength.
The two Pokémon soon became friends. As far as Hu Bin was concerned, Vulpix's strongest skill was its social ability-it could hit it off with any Pokémon!
Hu Bin also started chatting with Hassman. "How long have you been training here?" he asked.
"About two years," Hassman said as he drank some water. "But I'll be taking on the Island Challenge and completing the trials soon!"
"You're a strong Trainer. I'm sure you can complete the Island Challenge," Hu Bin said, looking earnestly at Hassman.
"Here's hoping you're right! Make sure you come watch my battle with Master Hala!" Hassman said with a smile.
"No problem!" Hu Bin readily agreed.
Then Hu Bin and Vulpix resumed training with Hassman and Sandslash. Vulpix gained a great deal from the day's training, making considerable progress in both controlling its moves and dodging!
The sun gradually set, and when Hassman announced that training was over for the day, Vulpix collapsed onto the training field, utterly exhausted!
Sandslash promptly helped its new friend Vulpix up!
Vulpix smiled and thanked Sandslash, who scratched its little head bashfully!
After saying goodbye to Hassman, Hu Bin went to Hala's room to tell Grandpa Hala about the results of the day's training!
Hala looked kindly at Hu Bin and asked gently, "How did today's training feel?"
