Chapter Summaries

The Daimyo of the Land of Fire ordered a National War against the Federation, and the other four Great Nations joined his call. With the Federation offering no response and Konoha refusing to participate, the Land of Fire's Daimyo ordered Konoha abolished and commanded the war to begin.

• The Daimyo of the Land of Fire ordered a recruitment drive and planned to invade the Federation in seven days.
• Tsunade dismissed the threat and said Konoha would stay out of the conflict while its ninja recovered.
• The Daimyo of the Land of Wind and then the other three Great Nations announced plans to join the war against the Federation.
• The five Daimyo secretly planned to pressure the Federation and the Chiba Commerce Association into negotiations, but Tetsuya had no intention of negotiating.
• As the march date approached, Konoha told the Land of Fire's Daimyo its ninja could not fight, so he ordered Konoha abolished and declared the National War would begin.
