"Haaah~!"
Sunlight streamed through the window onto Naruto's face. He climbed out of bed, yawned, and stretched.
"I slept so well! It feels like forever since I last had such a good night's sleep."
Scratching his head, Naruto got out of bed, put on his shoes, and went into the bathroom to wash up.
When he finished and walked into the kitchen, he looked at the two sets of unwashed bowls and chopsticks in the sink in confusion.
"Huh, that's weird. Did I eat two meals last night?"
Naruto scratched his head, finding that he really couldn't remember.
"Maybe I did. Or maybe I forgot to wash the dishes before."
As long as it wasn't anything serious, he didn't dwell on things he couldn't figure out. That was how Naruto lived.
After all, life would be exhausting if he fretted over every little thing.
After a simple breakfast, Naruto left home and headed straight for the training grounds.
"Good morning, Rock Lee! Looks like you're recovering nicely!"
"Oh! Thanks to Lady Tsunade's treatment, I'm almost completely recovered now."
Rock Lee, who was walking on his hands, balanced on one hand and gave Naruto a thumbs-up, though from Naruto's perspective, that thumb was pointing down.
Still, Naruto understood what he meant and replied with a smile.
"Of course! Granny Tsunade's medical skills are amazing."
"Exactly! All right, Naruto, I can't chat any longer. I need to keep training. I still have two laps left out of today's fifteen laps around the village on my hands. Let's talk later."
With that, Rock Lee ran off on his hands, shouting as he went.
"Aaaah! Burn, my youth!"
"Way to go, Rock Lee!"
