The black lightning panther collided with the white tiger of compressed air.
The tiger's roar and the panther's cry vied for dominance, unleashing a tremendous shock wave.
The battle had escalated, and Might Guy had opened the Seventh Gate, the Gate of Wonder.
Darui, who had barely been able to hold his own against Might Guy before, was now at a disadvantage.
Watching this adult and child hold up his entire scouting squad by themselves, Darui broke into a cold sweat.
"No wonder this defensive line is so tough. These two alone are this powerful."
He had already begun considering his retreat. From the looks of it, bringing everyone back was no longer possible.
He had to make a choice. Only the right choice would let him preserve as much of their fighting strength as possible.
While he was thinking, Might Guy charged at him, swinging a pair of nunchaku.
"Twin Fang!"
The nunchaku whirled so fast that even their afterimages were impossible to follow.
Clang!
He blocked it!
Darui's eyes could not keep up with Might Guy's speed at all. He was defending himself on instinct alone.
With a sharp clang, tremendous force slammed into him. Darui staggered backward, his broadsword flying from his hand and embedding itself in the ground some distance away.
"Take this!"
Might Guy accelerated, launching a flying kick.
Darui wanted to counterattack, but at that speed, he had no time to form hand seals.
Thud!
Pfft!
The kick struck him square in the abdomen. He spat out a mouthful of blood and went flying into the air.
"Captain Darui!"
"Hurry, help the captain!"
Seeing this, the other Kumogakure ninja immediately abandoned their struggle against Neji, whom they could not even get close to, and rushed to support Darui.
