"Save the world?"
Tetsuya rubbed his chin, watching Hamura and Hagoromo helping out amid the heavens and earth ahead.
"Doggo, do you think someone like me can really save the world?"
Husky asked in some confusion.
[Haven't you already? Master, you've saved three worlds so far, haven't you?]
"No, no, no, Doggo, you've misunderstood. What I've done doesn't count as saving worlds. At most, I've changed the course they were originally going to take."
Tetsuya stretched as he spoke.
"For a world like the Shinobi World, even without so-called transmigrators like us, it wouldn't head toward destruction.
If the world was never going to be destroyed in the first place, how can that count as saving it?"
[Is that how it works? In other words, even if we leave that world alone, nothing too serious will happen.]
Husky nodded thoughtfully, then spoke again.
"Well, maybe. That depends on whether that dead rookie transmigrator had any effect on that world.
If he didn't have much of an impact, then it doesn't matter.
But if he did something earth-shattering, that's another story."
[Hmm, he probably didn't have much of an impact. I heard from that junior of mine that he died after getting a little sun.]
"He died after getting a little sun? What, did that rookie transmigrator become a zombie or a vampire or something?"
[Something like that. That transmigrator became a creature called a demon. My junior originally planned to help him become the Demon King step by step, then overcome his weakness to sunlight. That would've let him finish his graduation project without a hitch.
But the transmigrator got so caught up in a fight that he lost track of everything, and then the sun came up.]
"Uh..."
For a moment, Tetsuya was speechless. What a bizarre way to
