One had long, peach-pink hair and a prominent scar on his cheek. A fox mask bearing a matching scar rested on his head, and he wore clothes patterned with interwoven yellow and green stripes beneath a white coat.

The other had black hair and also wore a mask, along with a white shirt, black trousers, and a red haori. His lively eyes brimmed with curiosity as he surveyed everything before him.

The two looked no older than thirteen or fourteen, but the longswords at their waists made it clear they were no ordinary boys.

Tetsuya didn't recognize the peach-haired boy, but he immediately recognized the black-haired boy beside him.

Wasn't that Giyu Tomioka, the guy nobody disliked? He didn't quite look the part. This lively, energetic kid was nothing like the Giyu I remembered.
