Tetsuya stood atop a tree, watching Sabito race ahead.
"They really are fearless. They've almost wiped out every demon on this mountain."
With his Rinnegan activated, Tetsuya could clearly see one distinctive presence after another vanish from Mount Fujikasane.
And besides Sabito, two other people were doing the killing.
He knew without looking that those two had to be Izuna and Giyu.
"Well, that leaves just one."
He looked in the direction Sabito was heading. Only one demon remained there: the Hand Demon, who had killed over a dozen of Urokodaki's disciples. There was no telling how many people he had eaten by this point.
But his aura alone made it clear that he was far beyond the average small fry.
Dark clouds obscured the moonlight. Tall trees grew in a tangled maze, their shade plunging everything beneath them into darkness.
An enormous creature resembling a mountain of flesh lumbered through the dim forest.
He had yellowish-brown skin and a bloated body. A closer look revealed arm after arm sprouting from him. Those rings of "fat" were actually layers of overlapping arms.

Each step his massive body took produced a heavy, muffled footfall.
"Found you, little mouse!"
A mocking gleam appeared in the Hand Demon's eyes. A huge hand shot out, snapping a large tree in an instant.
"Aah!"
A boy scrambled out of the fallen tree and fled, screaming.
He had thought hiding in a tree would let him escape the demon's hunt, unaware that the demon had spotted him long ago.
"Heh, heh, heh! Ahahahaha!"
