"Grandfather! Did you call us here just to find an ore vein?"
After searching under the blazing sun for two days, Kurotsuchi finally lost her patience. She threw her hat to the ground and complained.
"How much longer are we supposed to keep looking? Don't you even have an exact location?"
Ōnoki, the little old man with his granny hairstyle, chuckled.
"My dear granddaughter, didn't I give you a map? Take your time searching. This is training, too.
Haven't you noticed that, as you keep communicating with the earth,
your affinity for earth nature chakra has been growing stronger?"
The simplehearted Akatsuchi nodded.
"Lord Tsuchikage is right. I feel like I've gotten stronger again."
"I've had enough! We've found plenty of gold, silver, copper, and iron ore in these mountains, but not a trace of that special ore you mentioned. How much longer is this going to take?"
"Kurotsuchi, as a ninja, can't you handle even this much work?"
"But this isn't a ninja's job! Isn't this a miner's job?"
"Kurotsuchi, you need to understand. Ninja are like bricks-you put them wherever they're needed."
Ōnoki patiently reasoned with his granddaughter.
Bzz! Bzz!
A sudden buzzing sounded, and the little old man took his phone out of his pocket.
"Hello, Ōnoki speaking. What is it?"
"Lord Tsuchikage! We've discovered something unusual. We found tracks left by a special vehicle in a valley.
Our initial estimate is that it's a giant vehicle."
"A giant vehicle!"
Ōnoki's gaze immediately sharpened. His first thought was of the Giant Battleship Tetsuya had told him about.
"Where are you?"
The person on the other end immediately reported their location.
At Ōnoki's signal, Akatsuchi promptly took out the map and marked the spot.
"All right, understood. Follow the tracks and investigate. Be careful not to get spotted.
