The instant Izuna drew his blade, Muzan sent his consciousness straight into Nakime's mind, controlling her to open a passage to the Infinity Castle beneath his feet.
Though he reacted immediately, the blade in Izuna's hand still slashed out, cutting off half of Muzan's head.
After falling into the Infinity Castle, Muzan sat on the floor, still shaken. He immediately summoned a swarm of lesser demons with a wave of his hand. Several tentacles shot out, piercing their bodies and reclaiming his blood to rebuild the half of his head that had been severed.
"Who the hell is this guy?! Why is he still showing up when he's already dead?!"
Muzan roared in fury inside the Infinity Castle. Unfortunately, impotent rage was all he could manage.
Just now, the pressure that Mirror Hashira had exerted on him had surpassed even Yoriichi Tsugikuni's all those years ago. It was terrifying.
