"You want to build a large portal!" Jaina nodded. After hearing Kael'thas out, she considered it briefly before continuing, "With the mages of Gilneas and the group I brought, we won't have any problems with either magic or manpower."

"But have you prepared the materials beforehand?"

"Materials," Rex murmured, then fell silent. Gilneas had not dealt with anything as advanced as portals in a long time. Portals were a signature spell of archmages, though a ninth-rank mage could also cast one with the help of an epic staff. Weapons in Azeroth were divided into grades, a system inherited from the game: common, uncommon, rare, and epic. Above those lay artifacts. Rex's greatsword, for instance, was only a common weapon. An uncommon weapon would have certain special traits that distinguished it from ordinary weapons.
