132) A roar at point-blank range dragged Rex out of his thoughts and back to reality. The Skeletal Gryphon hurtled toward him with the wind howling around it. Moving in concert with his mount, Scott raised his weapon high, using the gryphon's momentum to deliver a swift, ferocious attack.
"Scott, you're far too arrogant!" Anger flashed across Rex's face at Scott's approach. He planted his feet firmly. Rather than even consider dodging the Skeletal Gryphon's charge, he seized the greatsword beside him and met Scott head-on.
