The war continued. Archimonde remained in command at the main camp, showing no intention of taking action himself.
This caused Rex and the others a great deal of trouble. Everyone knew that stealth techniques were useless in Archimonde's presence. With such a demonic god there, no one advocated sneaking in to throw their lives away.
Worry showed on their faces. Over the past two days, Rex, Thrall, and Tyrande had discussed the matter several times, all to no avail. No one had found a good solution.
"Your Highness, the High Priestess requests your presence," a female Night Elf said after approaching Rex and bowing.
"Lead the way." Rex frowned, puzzled. He had been consulting with Tyrande constantly over the past two days, but she had never once sent for him while he was in a meeting with the Alliance's senior leaders. That would have been discourteous, and knowing Tyrande, she would not have done such a thing.
Despite his frown, Rex did not hesitate. He rose from his chair and said to those beside him, "I'll be back shortly."
If Tyrande was in such a hurry, it could only mean one thing: she had something important to discuss with Rex.
