"Long time no see, Prince Rex," a hoarse voice rang out as a man shrouded in a purple cloak approached, step by step.

"Yes, it has been a long time, Kel'Thuzad," Rex said gravely as he dismounted from the Netherwing King and gently stroked his head with one hand.

"I never expected the Kirin Tor's most outstanding mage to submit to someone else and become his slave."

"My master's greatness is beyond your imagination." His purple cloak swayed in the wind as the hoarse voice emerged from beneath it. After a pause, Kel'Thuzad continued, "There is no need to pursue this subject. It serves no purpose. We would only end up arguing."

"You are as wise as ever, Kel'Thuzad. This subject serves no purpose." Rex nodded.

"Wise? No, that word should not be applied to me. It should be applied to you, Rex!" Kel'Thuzad's skeletal jaw quivered. His skull remained hidden beneath the purple cloak, making his expression impossible to read. His five long finger bones waggled as he continued speaking.

"Everyone underestimated you. Who could have imagined that the prince who once went utterly unnoticed could scheme so deeply?"

"Now you are like the blazing sun in the sky, radiating countless rays of light." He gazed at Rex in his golden helmet and armor. Beneath the brilliant sunlight, the reflected gleam made him resemble a miniature sun, and his surging holy light inspired dread.

"Your tongue is as sharp as ever, Kel'Thuzad, but your flattery is more than I can stomach. Arthas might enjoy that sort of talk, but I do not." Rex withdrew his hand from the Netherwing King's head and looked at Kel'Thuzad, a trace of wariness flashing in his eyes. Kel'Thuzad was not particularly powerful, but his intelligence was what truly made him terrifying.
