Among the Jungle Trolls Rex lured into attacking him in this primeval forest, there was one kind he would never touch. Even when he had no choice, he would have the other Hero Spirits kill them instead: Jungle Troll Headhunters.

These Jungle Trolls were the most troublesome of all. Ranged monsters were the biggest obstacle to leveling. Not only were they difficult to lure, but they would not charge at him to attack; he had to charge at them himself. All that running back and forth took considerable time, and with the trouble of luring them on top of it, Rex had given up on the Jungle Troll Headhunters in the primeval forest.

The only Jungle Troll Headhunters he had not given up on were those accompanying a Jungle Troll Chieftain. Only for the sake of that boss monster and its generous experience reward would Rex bother with them.

Without his underlings to support him, the Jungle Troll Chieftain's aura was useless. He was like a Heroic with no chance to show his worth, his strength cut in half. The Jungle Troll Chieftain's true power lay in that aura skill.

At Ninth Rank Peak, Rex held an overwhelming advantage over a Jungle Troll at Early Ninth Rank. This time, he was not facing a group, either. It was a duel.
