Outside, the cold wind howled, its biting chill roaring relentlessly.
Inside, however, waves of warmth filled the room. The electric heater was running at full power, making the entire room toasty.
Seated in his chair, Rex casually picked up the teacup before him and took a sip. Then he teased, "Prophet, you never come calling without a reason. Tell me, what major news have you brought this time?"
"This is a matter of great importance." Medivh was utterly serious. He left the cup of coffee before him untouched.
It was as though he had not even seen it. Although his black cloak concealed his expression, his voice alone made it clear how solemn he was.
"I have foreseen that our world is about to face a grave crisis."
"It is those demons. They still haven't abandoned their ambition to destroy our world."
"After Archimonde's death, most of the remaining Burning Legion forces were wiped out. With the campaigns against them over the past few years, there can hardly be any left. How are they going to reach us this time?" Rex casually lifted his teacup and took another sip.
"The Dark Portal. It is the Dark Portal. I have foreseen that the source of the crisis facing our world is that very Dark Portal," Medivh said again, mentioning the Dark Portal three times in succession.
"That portal has been out of commission for so many years. Can it still be used?" Rex asked, putting on a look of surprise.
"It is being repaired. The moment those repairs are complete and it opens again, endless demons will pour into our world. That is why I must ask you to rally the Alliance, Your Highness, and have everyone take action. War will soon be upon us again."
"I beg you, Your Highness."
